Uy, La Sed. C'est du bonbon. No sé ni por donde empezar con esta maravilla. Vampiros, Herejia, Lesbianismo y una sencion de nostalgia que pocas cosas me han hecho sentir. Una novela Gotica Moderna y en Espagnol. La amo, deberia de haber pelicula bien hecha.

Ok, same scenario as OD and Les Traitres, This a YA book series. I read it after being obssesed like every other 13 year old with Twilight. An obsession that I quickly got over because of this book. An Academy for Vampires and Dhampirs (half vampire, half human). The protagonist and narrator is a Dhampir and her character is just so strong and outspoken. It's a book series filled with love, magic, blood, coming of age, and a little bit of politics. I've reread the series multiple times because it is my comfort book. Don't watch the movie or the TV series; they're trash.

This story resonated with me because I'm an English Major too and sometimes I felt like people were in weird cults where they got fucked up and wrote a bunch of awesome creative stuff. And we've all have times and places where we feel lonely. It's also really fun and made me go WTF sometimes. The 2026 movie "Forbidden Fruits" was attempting so bad to be this but you can never beat a good book. Plus, Mona Awad is Canadian. Proud Maple Leaf moment. Now that's what I call Literature™. I always reference this novel when someone talks about perspective and also the holocaust. How a narrator can be so unreliably naive and guide us through heart breaking moments like he's just telling us how to make bread *Chef's kiss* Time is just a construct. This is a Masterpiece. Such a sad story. But I think that's what I like about it. I remeber about it at random times, which means it definitely left an impression. It also reminds me of University... Do I like this book? Well, let's just say I wrote my dissertation on this play. It's about witch hunting but also it's not. It's political. It's anti-american. It's a story on revenge.
